| Ferienobjektbeschreibung: | The Old Post Office is a beautiful three bedroom thatched cottaged in the lovely Somerset countryside village of Puckington. Tastefully decorated throughout, the cottage features plenty of character features, including exposed beams and flag stone floors. On the ground floor of the cottage there is a lovely cosy lounge with open fire, a pretty dining room with window seat and a well equipped kitchen with additional dining space. A handy utility room is also on the ground floor. Upstairs there are three bedrooms, two doubles with views of the countryside and a pretty twin overlooking the garden. All the bedrooms share the family bathroom. The cottage has its own large garden where alfresco meals can be enjoyed and a courtyard terrace. A quaint secret garden with pond is also available, but is kept locked with key provided to guests to use when they like. The Old Post Office is both dog and family friendly making it a great place to enjoy a holiday in the South West. |

| Beschreibung der Ortes und der Umgebung: | The Old Post is situated in Puckington, a quaint Somerset village with lovely walks and wildlife. Only a mile away and within walking distance is Barrington, where there is a good family friendly pub and a National Trust building to explore. For shopping and culture, Ilminster is only a short drive away. A little further afield are the cities of Bath and Wells. To explore the coast and enjoy a day on the beach, the North and South coast are around a 40 minute drive depending on traffic, so why not spend the day hunting fossils on the Jurassic coastline at Lyme Regis. In contrast to the coastline, the Medip and Blackdown Hills offers excellent days out for all. |
